New details in the murder of a Palestinian businessman in Kağıthane: Survived in Israel, killed in Istanbul

In the Hamidiye neighborhood of Istanbul's Kağıthane district, on Dilaver Street, an unidentified person carried out an armed attack using a silenced weapon on a parked car with license plate 34 FDN 313, which contained Palestinian businessman Abdülkadir Anas, his friend F.M., and his bodyguard E.K.

As a result of the attack, Abdülkadir Anas lost his life, while his friend and bodyguard were injured.

MOSSAD ALLEGATIONS WERE RAISED

While the suspect fled after the attack, a silenced weapon was found at the scene. As allegations regarding Mossad were raised concerning the assassination, new details about the suspicious murder have emerged.

According to a report by Osman Çaklı from Gazete Duvar; Abdülkadir Anas was an Arab of Palestinian descent living in the town of Kafr Yasif in northern Israel. According to Israeli newspapers, Anas was an Israeli citizen. He traveled abroad using the Israeli passport he held.

'MAFIA SETTLEMENT' ALLEGATION

Although it is not yet known who organized the murder, Palestinian sources stated that the perpetrator of the murder could be the mafia.

In the attack, Abdülkadir Anas (30), who was in the car with license plate 34 FDN 313, died at the scene, while Palestinian businessman Fadı M. was seriously injured. The bodyguard, Eray K., was wounded in the foot.

Due to the silenced weapon found at the scene and the fact that the masked attackers had fled to Bulgaria within 2.5 hours, allegations had been raised that the murder might have been organized by the Israeli intelligence agency MOSSAD.

Palestinian businesspeople who knew Abdülkadir Anas explained that he was not interested in politics and worked in real estate. Palestinian sources claimed that Anas had mafia-like connections.

Anas's father explained that his son, who survived the attack in Israel, had come to Zeytinburnu about 1.5 months ago. Anas's father stated, "We have nothing to do with politics. We are Israeli Arabs of Palestinian descent, and I hold an Israeli passport. We were constantly visiting Turkey. I came to Turkey to visit my son. He was constantly in Turkey with his family. He had not been threatened in Turkey."

THEY FLED IN 3 DIFFERENT VEHICLES

According to information obtained from security sources, it was determined that the suspect who carried out the armed attack on Anas and those with him fled on foot, got into another vehicle waiting for him near the scene, and that the suspects used 3 different vehicles to cover their tracks.

3 PEOPLE FLED ABROAD, 4 PEOPLE IN CUSTODY

As a result of the investigations, it was determined that the two suspect vehicles found were rented. A weapon was seized during searches of the vehicles. It was learned that G.S., T.S., and S.A., among the suspects who carried out the attack and were determined to have fled by changing 3 different vehicles, escaped abroad from Kırklareli. 4 people have been taken into custody.
