Mersin Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan visited those injured in the accident in the Tarsus district, where a passenger bus crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a truck and 2 cars.

During the visit to Tarsus State Hospital, Governor Pehlivan was accompanied by AKP Mersin Deputy Ali Kıratlı, Tarsus District Governor Mehmet Ali Akyüz, Provincial Police Chief Kamil Kolabaş, and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Ercan Atasoy.

Governor Pehlivan and his entourage, who received information from Chief Physician Dr. Sadık Emre Direk, wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Ali G., the driver of the passenger bus, has also been taken into custody regarding the accident in which 10 people lost their lives and 39 were injured.
