New development in Muharrem İnce's return to CHP! Who spread the 30 million TL debt claim?

New details have emerged regarding the return to the CHP of Muharrem İnce, who was the CHP's presidential candidate in the 2018 general elections and resigned from the CHP in 2021 to found the Homeland Party.

According to a report by Başak Kaya from Sözcü, it is alleged that İnce will hold an extraordinary congress to dissolve the Homeland Party and join the CHP along with his colleagues.

“I HAVE NO DEBT”

Former CHP Minister of Culture Fikri Sağlar, who met with İnce, said, “Muharrem İnce has made his decision; he will return to the CHP, where his heart has beaten since he was a child. I have also conveyed this to the Honorable Chairman. We are waiting for him to return to the fold.”

30 MILLION TL DEBT CLAIM WAS SPREAD BY 2 CHP DEPUTIES

During this meeting, İnce also denied the claim that the Homeland Party has a debt of 30 million lira. İnce stated, “On the contrary, we have money in the treasury. We do not have a single lira of debt.” It was reported that this claim was deliberately spread by two CHP deputies who wanted to prevent İnce's return to the CHP.

IT STARTED WITH A DINNER

The process of İnce's return to the CHP began with a private dinner held in Ahlatlıbel. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu had met with İnce for dinner.
