New development in poisoning tragedy: Hotel where the Böcek family stayed has been sealed!
Servet and Çiğdem Böcek, who arrived in Istanbul from Germany on November 9 and stayed at a hotel in Fatih, along with their children Kadir Muhammet (6) and Masal (3), were hospitalized on November 12 due to complaints of nausea and vomiting. Despite all medical interventions, the mother and her children could not be saved. As part of the investigation, the hotel where the family stayed has been sealed.
Of the Böcek family, who were hospitalized on suspicion of poisoning from the hotel where they were staying in Fatih, Istanbul, mother Çiğdem Böcek (27) and children Kadir Muhammet Böcek (6) and Masal Böcek (3) lost their lives, while father Servet Böcek (36) continues to receive treatment in intensive care.
Teams from the Provincial Health Directorate and the Fatih District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry had previously conducted inspections at the hotel. As part of the investigation into the incident, the examination carried out by police teams at the hotel has been completed.
The teams, who examined the belongings brought to the lobby area, subsequently took some of the items they collected for laboratory analysis.
While the hotel was being sealed, guests staying at the hotel were directed to different hotels.
