New development in 'Sarallar' operation: 19 suspects arrested
Out of 31 people detained in operations conducted in Istanbul, Kars, Muğla, Manisa, and Trabzon against the criminal organization known publicly as the "Sarallar," 19 have been arrested, and 12 have been released under judicial control. Arrest warrants have been issued for the fugitive suspects.
In an operation targeting the criminal organization known as the 'Sarallar' across 5 provinces centered in Istanbul, 19 out of 31 detained suspects have been arrested.
The police procedures for the 31 suspects detained in the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime Investigation Bureau into the armed criminal organization led by Alaattin İlyas Saral have been completed.
The suspects were brought to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan and were referred to the duty magistrate judge after their statements were taken at the prosecutor's office.
The court ruled for the arrest of 19 of the suspects and the release of 12 under judicial control, while also issuing arrest warrants for the fugitive suspects.
