New development in the Sarıyer church attack: Revealed to be wanted by Interpol with a Red Notice
It has emerged that Edelkhan Inazhaev, who was detained in connection with the armed attack at the Santa Maria Church in Sarıyer and identified as one of the suspects in the terrorist organization ISIS's bombing at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, is among the individuals sought by Interpol across 190 countries. It was learned that the Russian national Edelkhan is wanted by Russia with a Red Notice on charges of being a member of an armed terrorist organization.

The attack at the Santa Maria Church in Sarıyer, which resulted in the death of one person, was carried out by ISIS terrorist organization suspect Amirjon Khliqov and his associate David Tanduev.
Following this attack, a large-scale investigation was launched, and many individuals, including the two gunmen, were detained in operations.
SUSPECT IN THE AIRPORT ATTACK
Following the investigation by the police, 34 people were referred to the courthouse. Among the suspects referred to the court by the prosecutor's office with a request for arrest, one name stood out. In the referral document, the prosecutor's office stated that Edelkhan Inazhaev, who was captured in Başakşehir, was also one of the suspects in the June 28, 2016, bombing at Istanbul Atatürk Airport carried out by the terrorist organization DAESH. Another striking detail emerged regarding the Russian national Inazhaev.
FOUND TO BE WANTED BY INTERPOL
Inazhaev was captured and arrested in an operation conducted on July 1, 2016, following the airport attack. It was determined that Inazhaev, who was later released, is wanted by Russia with a Red Notice. It was learned that Inazhaev, who is the subject of a Red Notice, is sought by Interpol in 190 countries. According to records on the Interpol website, 26-year-old Inazhaev is accused of being a member of an armed terrorist organization.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Tuncer Cihan lost his life in the armed attack that occurred at the Santa Maria Church on January 28.
As part of the work initiated after the incident, teams conducted simultaneous operations at 30 addresses and detained 51 suspects. 23 of the suspects, who were determined to have no connection to the incident, were handed over to the removal center for deportation after their procedures were completed.

25 PEOPLE ARRESTED
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced in a post on his social media account that in the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the murder of Tuncer Cihan during the service at the Santa Maria Church in Istanbul's Sarıyer district, 25 suspects, including DAESH terrorist organization suspect Amirjon Khliqov, who opened fire in the church and caused Cihan's death, and his associate David Tanduev, were arrested on charges of membership in a terrorist organization and qualified intentional homicide.
Tunç noted that 9 suspects were released under judicial control conditions and that the judicial investigation into the incident is continuing comprehensively.
