New development in stock market manipulation investigation: Ünsal Ban is also involved
Ünsal Ban, the ex-husband of former AKP deputy Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu, along with his brother Ünal Ban and Ahmet Karakuş, have been arrested on charges of 'establishing a criminal organization.' The investigation is based on capital market manipulations that came to light through Capital Markets Board (SPK) reports.
Three individuals have been arrested as part of a comprehensive investigation into illegal transactions in capital markets.
Ünsal Ban, the former rector of the Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) University, who was detained within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, along with his brother Ünal Ban and Ahmet Karakuş, were arrested by the court they were brought before on charges of "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes."

The arrested Ünsal Ban is a name well-known to the public. Ban, the ex-husband of Zehra Taşkesenlioğlu, who was elected as a deputy from the AKP and later withdrew from politics, is also at the center of allegations regarding stock market manipulation.
