New development in the armed attack on Fethiye Mayor Karaca: 6 suspects arrested
Six suspects detained in connection with the armed attack on Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca in the Fethiye district of Muğla have been arrested.
According to the information obtained, a large-scale investigation was launched by the Muğla Provincial Police Department teams following the armed attack in which Fethiye Mayor Alim Karaca was injured.
Examining security camera footage from the scene and its surroundings, the teams organized an operation to apprehend the suspects believed to be involved in the attack.
As a result of the efforts, 6 suspects taken into custody at different addresses were brought to the police station.
The 6 suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were subsequently referred to the courthouse.
The suspects were arrested by the court they were brought before and sent to prison.
It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
