New development in the investigation into the disaster in İliç
In the investigation regarding the landslide that occurred at the gold mine site in the İliç district of Erzincan, 2 engineers in administrative positions have been arrested.
The investigation initiated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the landslide at the mine in İliç, Erzincan, continues.
In this context, engineers I.T. and K.M.A., who work in administrative positions at the company operating the mine, were referred to the courthouse for their statements.
6 PEOPLE, INCLUDING A CANADIAN EXECUTIVE, HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN ARRESTED
Following their interrogation by the prosecutor, I.T. and K.M.A. were referred to the on-duty criminal judgeship of peace and were arrested.
Within the scope of the investigation, 6 people, including J.R.G., a Canadian executive of the company operating the gold mine, had previously been arrested, while 3 suspects were released under judicial control conditions.
