New development in the investigation of Ece Ronay, who was taken into custody!

Social media influencer Ece Ronay T. had an arrest warrant issued against her by the prosecutor's office on charges of "incitement," and she was taken into custody yesterday along with 5 others by units of the Istanbul Organized Crime Control Branch.

SEIZED DIGITAL DEVICES ARE BEING EXAMINED AT THE CYBER BRANCH

The mobile phones and digital materials belonging to Ece Ronay T. and the other 5 suspects, who were taken into custody on charges of inciting the shooting of her ex-husband Mehmet B.'s workplaces, have been taken in for examination.

Forensic examinations of electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and laptops belonging to these individuals, whose passwords have been cracked, are being conducted by experts at the Istanbul Cyber Crimes Branch. The investigation will access all message traffic, both old and new, as well as deleted data.

PHONE CONVERSATIONS, MESSAGE TRAFFIC, AND E-MAIL CORRESPONDENCE UNDER SCRUTINY

Furthermore, all information and findings currently on the phones that could serve as evidence will be subjected to examination and converted into legal evidence. A comprehensive report will be prepared regarding the contents of the suspects' devices, and calls, messages, e-mail correspondence, photos, or any other information found within the digital materials will be classified and added to the file as evidence.

It was learned that the examinations of the seized devices began yesterday afternoon, and at the end of the work, the base station data of the phone lines belonging to Ece Ronay T. and the suspects who pulled the trigger will be compared for the days the attack occurred to determine whether they were connected to each other.

The forensic examinations and analyses are expected to be completed today.

THEY WILL BE REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE

On the other hand, Ece Ronay and those with her are expected to be referred to the courthouse tomorrow. It was also learned that the armed attack carried out on Ronay's workplace is being investigated in detail.
