New development in the murder of English teacher Katie Erorbay
Taxi driver Mustafa G., who attempted suicide after murdering English teacher Katie Erorbay, whom he had been systematically harassing in Kartal, has been referred to the courthouse.
Mustafa G., who shot and killed British citizen Katie Erorbay on February 1 as she was getting into her vehicle to go home after leaving the kindergarten where she worked as an English teacher, and subsequently attempted suicide, was taken into custody by teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Murder Bureau following his treatment at the hospital.
The suspect was taken to the police station and, following the procedures there, was sent to the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Katie Erorbay was shot and killed by taxi driver Mustafa G., who approached her as she was getting into her vehicle after leaving the kindergarten where she worked as an English teacher.
Mustafa G. then attempted suicide with the same weapon and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
It was stated that the perpetrator, Mustafa G., had been systematically harassing Katie Erorbay.
