As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Bureau of Investigation for Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes, an operation was carried out in the morning hours targeting well-known public figures against whom proceedings were initiated for the crime of using drugs or stimulants.
The celebrities who were detained to provide statements on charges of encouraging the use of narcotic substances were brought to the Council of Forensic Medicine for the necessary tests to be performed. 19 famous names, including Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, Hadise, and İrem Derici, were released after the tests were completed.
