The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched an ex officio investigation into the footage shared on some social media accounts with the note, "Footage of Fatih Keleş counting stacks of money at the CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters has emerged."
The CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters had issued a statement regarding the money counting footage that became a trending topic on social media.
In the statement, it was reported that the footage in question was related to the purchase of the party's provincial headquarters building and dated back to 2019. Furthermore, it was stated that the footage was also from the property owner's law office.
