New development regarding detained Gelendost Mayor Mustafa Özmen
Gelendost Mayor Mustafa Özmen, who was detained as part of an investigation conducted in Isparta, has been referred to the courthouse following the completion of his procedures at the police station.
In an operation organized by the teams of the Provincial Security Directorate's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch under the coordination of the Yalvaç Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a total of six people, including Mayor Mustafa Özmen, were detained.
No statement has yet been made by the competent authorities regarding the grounds for Özmen's detention.
Gelendost Mayor Mustafa Özmen, whose interrogation at the police station has been completed, was referred to the Yalvaç Courthouse.
Mustafa Özmen was elected Mayor of Gelendost as the candidate of the İYİ Party in the 2024 local elections, but later resigned from his party and continued his duties as an independent.
