At Koç University, F.B., a TÜBİTAK award winner, claimed that he was attacked by two students he shared a room with, alleging that they targeted him for being Kurdish and Alevi.

Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, F.B. and A.D. gave statements to the police as "complainant-suspects," while H.E.K. gave a statement as a "person with knowledge."

It was alleged that F.B., one of the students staying in the dormitory, had sexually assaulted A.D., and that A.D. had wounded F.B. with a sharp object during the argument that took place on the day of the incident, while it was learned that H.E.K., whose knowledge was sought regarding the incident, confirmed the allegations.

RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL

Following their statements to the prosecutor's office, the suspects were referred to the judgeship, where A.D. was released under judicial control for "assault" and F.B. for "sexual assault by molestation."

It was noted that in his statement to the prosecutor's office, F.B. claimed that H.E.K. had discriminated against him based on race and sect and had threatened him by saying he would harm him with an iron.

According to the medical reports obtained regarding F.B.'s injuries, it was stated that he had "injuries that cannot be healed with simple medical intervention."
