New development regarding the person who threatened Esra Erol with death
The identity of the follower of fraudster Mustafa Çabuk, who threatened presenter Esra Erol with death, has been identified. An arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, identified as Hasan Demir.
Following the arrest of Mustafa Çabuk, who defrauded citizens in Çanakkale by introducing himself as a 'mahdi', his follower Hasan Demir issued threats against the famous presenter Esra Erol.
In a video shared on his social media account, Demir, who threatened Erol with death, stated, "Oh Esra Erol, you took my life, and I will take yours. I will also take the lives of those who support you."
In a statement following the threats, Erol provided information, saying, "He is staying at a thermal hotel. They have dug an underground tunnel. He is hiding there, and they have installed security cameras. There are weapons inside. There are intra-group marriages."
According to Sabah; upon Esra Erol's complaint, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation. Within the scope of the investigation, the identity of the person who issued the threats was determined. It was established that Hasan Demir lives in Sakarya. An arrest warrant has been issued for Demir.
Previously, a guest who participated in Erol's program had asked for help, stating that her daughter had run away to Mustafa Çabuk, who introduces himself as a mahdi. The victim had said on live broadcast, "By the permission of Allah, I am his follower. We are learning knowledge here."
