New developments in the Osmaniye animal massacre... Employees were paid per dog!

In footage recorded by an animal rights activist in recent days, dozens of dogs were seen slaughtered in different sections of a shelter in Osmaniye.

It was also discovered that some dogs had been buried alive. Following the images that shook public opinion, the story behind the incident has taken an even darker turn.

EMPLOYEES WERE PAID PER DOG!

According to a report by Meral Danyıldız from Sözcü, it has been revealed that M.K., an official at the Osmaniye Municipality shelter, paid employees 10 TL for every dog they collected. Moreover, these payments were made irregularly through the account of M.K.'s wife, C.K.

The scandal did not end there. Correspondence between the employees showed that the dog massacre was viewed as a source of financial gain.

CHILLING MESSAGES!

One of the employees, S.K., used the following expressions in the correspondence:

"If you collect 100 dogs per shift, that's a thousand lira; 10 shifts, 1000 dogs, that makes 10 thousand lira. Good money."

Another employee, sharing a photo of a dog from the street, laid the brutality bare with the words, "The yellow-white devil escaped so many times, we also convinced the men. We told them it would cause you trouble. They said okay, take it, but the dog won't sleep."

Shelter official M.K. defended the events, saying, "The goal here is not to make anyone compete, it was just a small gift for those who show more dedication and collect dogs; otherwise, 10 TL is just a symbolic amount."
