The era of paying the international departure fee with stamps ends on January 1. From now on, the international departure fee will be collected through the digital tax office, GİB Mobile, contracted banks, tax offices, and counters at airports.

The process of paying the international departure fee with stamps will end as of January 1, 2025.
The international departure fee can be paid through the digital tax office, GİB Mobile, contracted banks, tax offices, and counters at airports.
Departure fee stamps purchased at the end of 2024 for 500 TL can be used until January 10, 2025. After this date, it is mandatory to pay the updated fee amount of 710 Turkish Liras.
UNTIL WHEN CAN STAMPS PURCHASED AT THE OLD RATE BE USED?
According to the information in the draft communiqué, citizens traveling abroad in the first 10 days of 2025 will be able to depart by paying the 2024 fee of 500 TL.
However, for citizens traveling abroad on or after January 11, the fee will be applied as 710 TL.
As of January 10, 2025, the departure fee stamp application for international travel will be completely terminated.
Departure fee stamps purchased in 2024 will only be valid until January 10, 2025. Citizens who have paid the international departure fee but have not traveled may request a refund.
