New era in contract teacher recruitment
The regulation determining that the interview score for contract teacher employment will be calculated by taking 50 percent of the KPSS score and 50 percent of the score obtained from the oral exam has been published in the Official Gazette.
The Regulation on Amending the Regulation on the Employment of Contract Teachers has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the regulation, it has been decided that the interview score for contract teacher employment will be determined by taking 50 percent of the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) score and 50 percent of the score obtained from the oral exam.
ORAL EXAMS ON JULY 1
The first implementation of this will be put into effect for the newly announced appointment of 20 thousand teachers.
Pre-applications and oral exam center preferences for the appointment of 20 thousand teachers will be made between May 20-31. The exam centers where candidates will take the oral exam will be announced on June 10.
Oral exams will be held starting from July 1.
The Ministry of National Education will implement a series of measures similar to those in written exams to ensure that oral exams in teacher appointments are based on objective criteria.
