New expulsions on the agenda for the MYK meeting chaired by Kılıçdaroğlu: The process continues

According to information received, the referral of CHP Ankara Provincial Chairman Ümit Erkol and CHP İzmir Provincial Chairman Çağatay Güç, who are currently detained at Aliağa Prison, to the High Disciplinary Board with a request for their expulsion is expected to be discussed at tomorrow's meeting.

It is stated that if the expulsions are addressed, new appointments for Ankara and İzmir may also come to the agenda.

It is stated that disciplinary referral and expulsion processes will continue for those held responsible for the legal and political crises experienced within the CHP MYK.

While work on the ordinary party congress calendar continues within the scope of the authority granted to the MYK at the last CHP Party Assembly meeting, party sources state that the process will take between five and six months once the ordinary congress calendar is initiated.

On the other hand, nearly 900 signatures collected via notary public by those supporting CHP Group Chairman Özgür Özel and demanding an Extraordinary Congress are expected to be delivered to the CHP Headquarters tomorrow.

Names close to CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu argue that no action can be taken regarding the signatures arriving with a demand for an extraordinary congress, and that they do not have the authority to hold a congress due to an existing injunction.
