New ferry line to the Princes' Islands: Attention residents of Pendik and Tuzla

The UKOME meeting was held at the Çırpıcı Social Facilities under the chairmanship of IMM Deputy Secretary General Gürkan Akgün.

During the meeting, the establishment of a sea route between Tuzla-Pendik-Büyükada was discussed with the aim of increasing the share of sea transport in public transit and reducing the density at the Bostancı, Maltepe, and Kartal piers. The proposal was accepted unanimously.

FARE HIKES ON AIRPORT LINES

At the meeting, it was decided to increase fares for the Kadıköy-Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SG-1) bus line and the Taksim-Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SG-2) bus line.

In this context, the full electronic ticket price on the Kadıköy-Sabiha Gökçen Airport line was increased by 42.90 percent, rising from 90.97 Turkish Liras to 130 Turkish Liras. While no discounted tariffs or transfers are applied on this line, the limited-use ticket limit was increased from 5 to 7.

On the Taksim-Sabiha Gökçen Airport line, the full electronic ticket price rose by 73.09 percent, from 121.32 Turkish Liras to 210 Turkish Liras. No discounted tariffs or transfers are applied on this line either, and the limited-use ticket limit was increased from 6 to 11.

At the meeting, it was also decided to extend the deadline until July 31, 2025, for the continued operation of 60 unregistered electric vehicles providing transport services in the Princes' Islands until registered vehicles are procured.
