New footage of Minguzzi murder suspects emerges: Was the killing premeditated?

New security camera footage has emerged in the case regarding the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who had gone to the historic Salı Pazarı in Hasanpaşa, Kadıköy, on January 24 to buy skateboard equipment with his friends. Details regarding the suspects' actions before and after the incident have come to light once again.

In the new security camera footage, which was reportedly recovered by TÜBİTAK, the suspects are seen spending time in a park, where they lit a fire before the incident.

THEY HAD CLAIMED 'WE NEVER WENT TO THAT PARK'

Three of the suspects had stated in their testimonies that they had "never been to that park." Following the emergence of the footage, the possibility that the suspects planned the murder is being emphasized.

Additionally, the moments when the suspects jumped over the metro turnstiles were also recorded. This footage has allowed the investigation into the murder to deepen.

Mattia Minguzzi, who was seriously injured following the incident, was taken to the hospital but lost his 17-day battle for life. Following the young boy's death, B.B. (15), who was determined to have committed the murder, and U.B. (15), who was determined to have kicked the victim after he fell to the ground, were arrested, and a lawsuit was filed against them for "intentional killing of a child." A prison sentence of 18 to 24 years is being requested for both defendants.

M.A.D. and A.Ö., who were determined to have acted with B.B. and U.B.—the individuals who committed the murder—before and after the incident, were also arrested on charges of "aiding in the intentional killing of a child." A prison sentence of 15 to 20 years is also being requested for these suspects.
