New lottery dates announced for TOKİ's social housing project

A new lottery period is beginning for social housing projects continuing across Turkey. The Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) has entered the fifth week of the lottery draws conducted within the framework of the 'Housing Project of the Century.' In the lottery process that began on December 29, 2025, a total of 144,258 citizens in 41 cities have been identified so far as the individuals who will receive their new homes.

In the new week of the process, lottery draws will be held in 10 more provinces. Announcing the details of the lottery schedule between February 2 and February 8, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum stated, "455,000 homes are complete in our 11 provinces; now we are working for 500,000 social housing units with the Housing Project of the Century. Saying 'Turkey is a Homeowner,' we held our draws in 41 provinces and determined the citizens who will hold 144,258 keys. Our excitement for the lottery begins for 10 of our provinces in the new week."

A MEANINGFUL LOTTERY DRAW IN OSMANIYE

On February 6, the third anniversary of the Kahramanmaraş earthquake, a lottery draw will also be held during a memorial ceremony to be organized in Osmaniye. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli are also expected to attend the event. At the ceremony, which will be held under the title "Look at the Power of My Turkey," those who lost their lives in the earthquake will be commemorated with Quran recitations and prayers.

The lottery schedule for the other provinces is as follows:

• Monday, February 2: Beneficiaries for 3,825 units in Elazığ,
• Tuesday, February 3: 7,562 units in Kayseri and 1,872 units in Zonguldak,
• Wednesday, February 4: 1,633 units in Kırşehir and 2,470 units in Düzce,
• Thursday, February 5: 8,195 units in Kahramanmaraş and 4,370 units in Afyonkarahisar,
• Friday, February 6: 2,990 units in Osmaniye,
• Saturday, February 7: Beneficiaries for 1,805 units in Yalova and 1,736 units in Kırıkkale will be determined in the presence of a notary.

Following the completion of the lottery draws, the names of the beneficiaries will be announced in each province.

This large-scale social housing project carried out by TOKİ aims to facilitate homeownership across Turkey by enabling low-income families to own homes with affordable installments and payment terms. Transparency and trust are prioritized in the process through lottery procedures conducted under the supervision of a notary.

Among the 41 provinces where names were determined in previous weeks are Adıyaman, Şırnak, Hakkari, Van, Mardin, Ağrı, Batman, Iğdır, Bitlis, Kars, Muş, Ardahan, Antalya, Bingöl, Tunceli, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, Artvin, Rize, Erzurum, Malatya, Erzincan, Şanlıurfa, Trabzon, Tokat, Amasya, Manisa, Sivas, Kastamonu, Aydın, Giresun, Kilis, Sinop, Niğde, Ordu, Aksaray, Karabük, Samsun, Nevşehir, and Bartın.

With the completion of the lottery schedule, the beneficiaries for a significant portion of the 500,000 social housing units under the Housing Project of the Century will have been determined.
