New message from Devlet Bahçeli after Semih Yalçın's footage! 'We have nothing to hang our heads over...'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli released a message on the occasion of the 110th Anniversary of the Çanakkale Victory.

In his message, Bahçeli emphasized the Çanakkale victory, stating, "110 years ago, the capable and vigilant stance of national unity and solidarity grew into a giant in Çanakkale, preventing our final homeland from being trampled upon and turning colonial ambitions and goals into wreckage."

Bahçeli remarked, "Our dear martyrs, who shielded their mortal lives for the sake of the homeland, nation, flag, sacred values, and national honor, did not depart from life in vain, nor did they fall to the earth for nothing. Our martyrs are the spiritual guardians of our existence, the heroes who knew how to kill death within themselves.

Therefore, it is never and under no circumstances a question of us being on the periphery, in the corner, or inside any network of relations that would torment the souls of our martyrs; ultimately, such a historical deviation is equivalent to an insult and disrespect to the consciousness of Çanakkale."

"WE HAVE NO SHORTCOMINGS OR DEFICIENCIES THAT WOULD MAKE US HANG OUR HEADS"

In his message, Bahçeli also emphasized the new reconciliation process of which he is the architect, saying, "The descendants of those who achieved a Turkey without enemies will build and revive a Turkey without terrorism."

Bahçeli's statement included the following: "I would like to specifically remind the figures behind the black propaganda and dirty campaigns that we have no shortcomings or deficiencies that would make us feel ashamed, embarrassed, or force us to hang our heads. Those who target lovers of Turkey with baseless and cursed accusations will never achieve results and will not be able to turn us back from the path we believe in and are advancing upon."

SEMİH YALÇIN HAD HUNG HIS HEAD

Moments when MHP's Semih Yalçın hung his head while DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları referred to the terrorist leader as "Mr. Öcalan" during their visit to the MHP had become a topic of public discussion.

Following this widely discussed footage, it did not go unnoticed that Bahçeli's message included the phrase "We have no shortcomings or deficiencies that would make us feel ashamed, embarrassed, or force us to hang our heads."

Çanakkale is not just one of our 81 provinces; beyond that, it is the world's largest cemetery of martyrs, a scene of struggle and striving where faith and will have grown into giants.

The treacherous and bloody siege of imposing tyranny, brawling oppression, and branded humiliation was broken by distilled self-sacrifice and devotion, and the rotten invader calculations that set their eyes on the dear homeland were overturned by the blood of martyrs shed and many epics of heroism.

110 years ago, the capable and vigilant stance of national unity and solidarity grew into a giant in Çanakkale, preventing our final homeland from being trampled upon and turning colonial ambitions and goals into wreckage.

To first understand the spirit of Çanakkale and then to tell it for generations, and furthermore, to realize with a vigilant consciousness that enemy ambitions are always on alert and watchful, is a tremendous and honorable service to the existence of the Turkish nation and the Turkish state.

The suns that were said to have set for the sake of a crescent have, in essence, illuminated our independence and future in a distinguished manner and have opened the veils stretched across our bright horizon one by one.

The naval and land victories won in various locations, channels, and regions of Çanakkale, which swell our chests with pride, have become the preface, the front face, and a kind of harbinger of the Republic of Turkey, paid for at the cost of every price.

The fact that global and regional deadly scenarios had to be changed from top to bottom due to necessity not only affected the balance and dynamics in the following years but, at its core, has determined and transformed today's world in military, political, and strategic terms.

Our dear martyrs, who shielded their mortal lives for the sake of the homeland, nation, flag, sacred values, and national honor, did not depart from life in vain, nor did they fall to the earth for nothing.

Our martyrs are the spiritual guardians of our existence, the heroes who knew how to kill death within themselves.

While the Turkish homeland was being defended, no one's origin was asked, no one's sect was questioned, and no one's region or ethnic affiliation aroused curiosity.

The Turkish nation became one, indeed, it locked together as a single heart, and by gathering body to body, giving life to life, and resisting blood to blood against the hostile forces, it built a wall of independence that is a vain dream to overcome.

The love of the homeland and belonging to the nation cannot be subject to politics and exploitation.

The descendants of those who achieved a Turkey without enemies will build and revive a Turkey without terrorism.

I would like to specifically remind the figures behind the black propaganda and dirty campaigns that we have no shortcomings or deficiencies that would make us feel ashamed, embarrassed, or force us to hang our heads.

Under the guidance of the Çanakkale consciousness, apart from solidifying and strengthening our national unity and brotherhood, just as tempering steel, those who target lovers of Turkey and the Turkish nation with baseless and cursed accusations will never achieve results and will not be able to turn us back from the path we believe in and are advancing upon.

The perception games and base formations of clowns who have not internalized Çanakkale in their conscience are worthless and null and void.

History will one day write how the true and believing Turkish nationalists struggled in a selfless and sincere manner for the sake of the homeland, the nation, and our common destiny.

On those pages of history, the examples of heroism and insults of today will not even be considered as a footnote, including the useful and remote-controlled fake political merchants from whom we parted ways long ago in terms of thought, action, physical presence, discourse, and politics.

As long as the Çanakkale epic of the Turkish nation lives in hearts, and as long as there are patriotic figures who embrace it, I believe that the internal and external occupation front, which did not succeed in the past, will not reach its goal today either.

With these feelings; on the 110th Anniversary of the March 18 Martyrs' Remembrance Day and the Çanakkale Naval Victory; I commemorate with gratitude our dear martyrs who made the lands we live on a homeland with their pure blood.

I pray to Almighty Allah for mercy upon our venerable ancestors, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who embraced our struggle for independence and existence with magnificent courage and zeal.

May their souls be blessed, and may their place be heaven.
