New move from CHP regarding the access ban on İmamoğlu's account: Protection of public order was cited as the reason
The CHP has changed the username of the Presidential Candidate Office account that was subject to an access ban.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has imposed an access ban on the social media account named the Presidential Candidate Office, where presidential campaign activities are conducted, following a similar ban on the social media account of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP Presidential Candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu.
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the reason for the access ban was the "protection of national security and public order."
NEW MOVE FROM CHP
The Republican People's Party (CHP) has developed a new move against the access ban.
The username of the Presidential Candidate Office account, which was blocked from access, has been changed.
When the link to the blocked account is clicked, a different account opens.
While the account subject to the decision was @CBAdayOfisi, the new username of the account has become @CBAdayOfisi1.
