New operation by Syrian army against SDF: Call to civilians

An important development regarding northern Syria has been announced by the Syrian Army Operations Command. The statement reported that the Deir Hafir region, where the terrorist organization SDF is concentrated, has been declared a closed military zone.

The Operations Command announced that Deir Hafir, which is under SDF control, has now been granted the status of a closed military zone, signaling a new operation targeting the region.

The Command announced that unmanned aerial vehicles targeting Aleppo were launched from this region. The statement specified that the source of these attacks was Deir Hafir.

CALL TO CIVILIANS

The Syrian Army Operations Command also issued a warning to civilians. The statement requested that civilians stay away from areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ARMED GROUPS

The Command reported that instructions have been given to armed groups in the region to withdraw to the east of the Euphrates River. It was also stated that a map regarding the area to be targeted has been released.

WHAT HAPPENED?

After militants affiliated with the SDF were removed from Aleppo, the SDF, which is the structure of the YPG terrorist organization, had launched kamikaze drones toward Aleppo.

One of the Iranian-made Shahed-type drones launched by the SDF struck the Aleppo Governorate Building during a press conference held by the Governor of Aleppo.

Following this incident, militants affiliated with the SDF were removed from Aleppo by bus, and the Syrian army had taken security measures around Aleppo and in Deir Hafir, located east of Aleppo.
