DEM Party MP and Imralı Delegation member Sırrı Süreyya Önder shared a photo of Selahattin Demirtaş, who was brought to a hospital in Istanbul on Saturday for his wife Başak Demirtaş's surgery.
It was reported to the public that MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who initiated the process that began with the call from PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan for the organization to "dissolve itself," held a phone conversation with former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, who is being held in Edirne Prison, and that Devlet Bahçeli thanked Demirtaş for his positive approach to the process.
BROUGHT TO ISTANBUL WITH SPECIAL PERMISSION
On March 1, Demirtaş was brought to Istanbul from the Edirne Prison where he is detained, with special permission from President Erdoğan, to accompany his wife Başak Demirtaş, who underwent surgery.
