New regulation for notary services
Following the introduction of credit card payments for notary services, a new step has been taken for another application. Pilot implementations have begun.
As of February 3, 2020, the option to pay for notary services via credit card was introduced. With this facility, 33 million 481 thousand people have made payments using credit cards.
In order to prevent congestion and increase functionality, many innovations such as e-notary, on-duty notary, and secure payment services have been put into service. The number of notary offices has also been increased from 1,231 to 2,385 as of 2024.
PILOT IMPLEMENTATION HAS BEGUN
A new application has been initiated to eliminate the use of fake identities in transactions. With the fingerprint identity verification process, which was first launched as a pilot application, 3 thousand 779 identities have been verified so far.
The fingerprint verification system, which will be applied in all notary offices across 81 provinces, will be expanded nationwide by the end of 2024.
