The corruption investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into individuals including Ekrem İmamoğlu, on charges of "being a manager of a criminal organization," "being a member of a criminal organization," "extortion," "bribery," "qualified fraud," "unlawful acquisition of personal data," and "rigging a tender," is ongoing.
It was learned that suspects Eyüp Subaşı and Kabil Taşçı, who were arrested for "being a member of an organization" and "bribery," and suspect Güngör Gürman, who was detained for "rigging a tender," "bribery," and "being a member of an organization," requested to provide additional statements to the prosecutor's office.
The prosecutor's office, evaluating that the statements provided qualified for the benefits of effective remorse, referred the suspects to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for judicial control measures in the form of "house arrest" and a "travel ban."
The judgeship decided to release the 3 suspects under the requested judicial control measures.
