New resolution process: Pervin Buldan, who met with Erdoğan, gives a date!

The new resolution process, architected by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, remains on the agenda.

Following the calls made by Bahçeli, Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan from the DEM Party Imralı Delegation, who had held 3 meetings with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, went to the Presidential Palace on April 10 to visit AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Pervin Buldan, who met with Erdoğan, spoke in Rome, the capital of Italy, at the "International Conference on Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, Solution to the Kurdish Question" held for the terrorist leader.

Highlights from Buldan's speech are as follows:

"After leaving here, the Minister of Justice will be visited, we will have a meeting," said Buldan, "Then we will likely hold another meeting with Mr. Öcalan on Imralı Island. This process is expected to be completed within a few months; that is, it is expected to reach full success by the end of June. This is the case for both Mr. Öcalan and state officials.

Therefore, the meetings and efforts made, as well as the support given to this in all European countries, will have a great contribution. Every country has many things to do from its own perspective. Because we know that every step to be taken is also a path leading to Mr. Öcalan's physical freedom. Along with all this, we have high expectations from European countries as well. The support to be given is valuable and contributes to peace. Because a ground is being created in Turkey where the Kurdish people and the Turkish people will live together. We all know that there will be no loser in peace, but everyone will be a winner in peace," she said.

"WHENEVER IT WAS INTERRUPTED, PEOPLE WENT UNDER THE SOIL"

This process continued for three years in 2015. These three years were a great achievement. Because during these three years, no one lost their life, mothers did not cry, no one shed tears, and young saplings did not go under the soil. But whenever it was interrupted, the conflict process started again, deaths occurred, our children died, our relatives died, and people went under the soil. It is in all of our hands to bring this process to success. We can all contribute to the process with our rhetoric, the events we organize, the campaigns we run, and by supporting the process.

The Narin murder was also on the agenda in both meetings. She emphasized the importance of a democratic society preventing child murders, first and foremost, as well as femicides. She said that such mentalities must be fought against. She stated that the real fight should be against the mentalities that commit child massacres and femicides. She says that we can eliminate this mentality through democratic communalism and that we must also work quickly on this issue. She expresses all of this to the entire public with a Call for Peace and a Democratic Society. In short, we are all hopeful, we are all closer to peace. Mr. Öcalan says, 'I have the power and the will to develop peace regarding peace.' Therefore, we are also behind Mr. Öcalan, and we say peace, only peace."
