In a statement made on his social media account, CHP Chairman's Press Advisor Atakan Sönmez said,
"Gürsel Tekin has been appointed by our Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as 'Coordinator Reporting to the Office of the Chairman.'
I would like to thank Gürsel Tekin, along with Zeki Şen and Erkan Narsap, for the struggle they have waged in Istanbul for approximately one year against attacks directed at the Republican People's Party, and I wish him success in his new role" he stated.
