New ruling regarding journalists Ruşen Çakır, Yavuz Oğhan, and Şaban Sevinç
A notable decision has been issued regarding three journalists standing trial in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) case. The court has lifted the international travel bans imposed on Ruşen Çakır, Yavuz Oğhan, and Şaban Sevinç.
Journalists Yavuz Oğhan, Şaban Sevinç, and Ruşen Çakır, who were released under judicial control conditions after being detained as part of an investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, had previously been issued international travel bans.
The application regarding the judicial control measures for the three journalists, who face accusations of 'publicly disseminating misleading information' and 'aiding a criminal organization' within the scope of the investigation, has been concluded after approximately one month. The travel ban imposed on all three journalists has been lifted.
