"The investigations conducted by our Tunceli and Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices to clarify the fate of Gülistan Doku are being carried out in full coordination with our Ministry of Interior, in a multi-faceted, comprehensive, and in-depth manner.
With the new wave of operations carried out this week, judicial proceedings have been initiated against 32 suspects; 15 suspects have been arrested, judicial control measures have been applied to 14 suspects, and the extradition process to Turkey has been initiated for 1 suspect captured under a red notice. The detention procedures for 2 suspects are ongoing.
Within the scope of the investigation; HTS and narrowed base station records, camera footage, digital materials, financial transactions, hospital data, vehicles, as well as DNA and criminal findings are being meticulously examined. Efforts to recover records that are considered to have been deleted or altered and to obtain all evidence that will reveal the material truth in its entirety are continuing.
On this occasion, I would like to thank our Tunceli and Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, who have coordinated the investigations with great dedication; our Police and Gendarmerie organizations, especially our JASAT teams, our KOM Department, MASAK, and our Council of Forensic Medicine.
Wherever it may lead, we will not allow the material truth to be covered up. We will not let this case go until the fate of Gülistan Doku is clarified in all its aspects and those responsible are held accountable before justice."
