New statement from DEM Party regarding Sırrı Süreyya Önder's health: We are on a healing watch

The written statement issued by the DEM Party included the following expressions:

"The treatment of our Imralı Delegation member Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who was hospitalized after suffering a heart condition and taken into intensive care following a major surgery, continues. According to information provided by his doctors, Önder's general condition is stable, and his intensive care treatment is ongoing.

Meanwhile, the heavy visitor traffic that began on the first day continues. Our Imralı Delegation member Pervin Buldan, our Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan, our Group Deputy Chairs Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit and Sezai Temelli, as well as our deputies and executives, continue their vigil at the hospital.

Numerous political delegations, public figures, and NGO representatives visited the hospital yesterday afternoon and today. Yesterday evening, Vice President Fuat Oktay, New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) Chairman Fatih Erbakan, former Minister of Family and Social Policies Derya Yanık, and many others visited the hospital.

Today, the Saturday Mothers (the Peace Mothers had also visited previously), AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, CHP Deputy Chairman Yalçın Karatepe, former Minister of Agriculture Mehdi Eker, a Saadet Party delegation, as well as artists such as Yavuz Bingöl and Oktay Kaynarca, and numerous deputies paid visits. Additionally, Cemil Çiçek called our party executives once again to receive information about his condition.

In order to reduce the density of visitors at the hospital, our party has begun accepting get-well visits at our provincial and district organizations. Thousands of people are visiting our provincial and district organizations to convey their get-well wishes."
