New statement from Jahrein, who insulted Selahattin Demirtaş's mother

Social media personality Ahmet Sonuç, known by the handle Jahrein, had insulted the mother of Selahattin Demirtaş. Sonuç had tweeted the acronym "A.K.K," which stands for a vulgar Turkish phrase directed at someone's mother.

After being subjected to various insults and threats on social media, Sonuç deleted the post and issued a statement.

"IT DID NOT SUIT ME TO INVOLVE HIS MOTHER IN MY ISSUE"

In his post on X, Sonuç stated: "I have deleted the aforementioned tweet. First and foremost, my issue with Selahattin Demirtaş is personal to him. It did not suit me to involve his mother in my issue. I was able to realize this after discussing it with my wife. I apologize to my followers who have lost their respect/affection for me at this point.

My opinion regarding Selahattin Demirtaş remains fixed and will not change until I die. My criticisms and remarks from now on will be directed at him personally. I also apologize for occupying the public agenda. Have a good day," he said.
