Minister Tunç stated, "Every mountain and stone is being searched, but unfortunately, they have not been found. The blood sample taken from the mother and father matched the sample in the uncle's car. As a result, an arrest was made. The primary hope is that she is found alive."

Minister Tunç said the following regarding 8-year-old Narin Güran, who has been missing in Diyarbakır since August 21: "Every mountain and stone is being searched, but unfortunately, they have not been found. A publication ban has been issued regarding the investigation. It is not appropriate to film there for the sake of the investigation's integrity. Statements have been taken.
Determinations have been made regarding certain statements concerning individuals deemed suspicious. Her brother was examined; the forensic medicine department conducted an examination. A decision was reached that it was unclear to whom those marks belonged.
Her uncle was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing; it is not appropriate for us to say anything.
