New transfer claim from the AKP figure who announced Burcu Köksal: 'They are waiting for permission from our President'

Burcu Köksal, who was elected Mayor of Afyonkarahisar from the CHP, officially joined the AKP yesterday.

While Köksal's transition to the AKP continues to occupy the political agenda, former AKP Ağrı Mayor Savcı Sayan has put forward a striking claim.

Reminding that he had previously announced that Burcu Köksal would join the AKP, Sayan claimed that a metropolitan mayor from the CHP and a district mayor from Istanbul are waiting for AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's 'permission' to transfer. Sayan also alleged that a mayor from the DEM Party wants to join the AKP.

Sayan's post is as follows:

"AFTER BURCU KÖKSAL, THERE ARE OTHER MAYORS WAITING IN LINE TO JOIN OUR PARTY.

Months ago, when I said, 'My source is reliable, Burcu Köksal will join our AK Party,' you lynched me. Today, she is joining our party. Welcome to our ranks."

Let me give you another piece of information: A metropolitan mayor from the CHP and a district mayor from Istanbul are waiting for permission from our President to join our AK Party. Furthermore, a mayor from the DEM Party also wants to join our AK Party.
