New US Ambassador to Ankara Tom Barrack has arrived in the capital
The new United States (US) Ambassador to Ankara, Tom Barrack, has arrived in the capital to begin his tenure.
Businessman Thomas Barrack, who was nominated for the position of Ambassador to Ankara by US President Donald Trump, was confirmed as ambassador following a vote in the Senate General Assembly.
In his first statement upon arriving in Ankara to begin his duties, the new US Ambassador to Ankara, Thomas Barrack, said, "My goal is to elevate Turkey-US relations."
