A new service has been launched in the capital, Ankara, for families working night shifts. Çankaya Municipality has initiated a night daycare program at the Maltepe Daycare Center to address the demands and needs of families. This program is the first of its kind in Ankara.
According to a statement from municipal officials, the night daycare, implemented as a pilot project, will provide services for children aged 3-6 between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00.
Care and education for the children at the night daycare will be provided by the municipality's expert teachers. Additionally, children will be served dinner and various activities will be organized.
PROGRAM TO BE EXPANDED
Although the night daycare will currently only be implemented at the Maltepe Daycare Center, it was reported that this service could be expanded to daycare centers in other neighborhoods in line with family demand.
It was noted that the program will provide significant convenience, especially for parents working night shifts, and will contribute to the development of children in a safe environment.
