No news for 9 days from Rojin, who went missing in Van
Search efforts continue for 21-year-old Rojin Kabaiş, who went missing 9 days ago at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University.
21-year-old Rojin Kabaiş, a first-year preschool teaching student at the Van YYÜ Faculty of Education, left her dormitory after eating, saying she was "going to the beach." Since then, no further news has been heard from the young woman. Rojin's mobile phone was the last item found on the beach. While the search efforts for the young woman continue on their 9th day, the hopeful wait of her family, who are awaiting good news about their daughter, persists.

Teams formed for search and rescue operations have launched a large-scale operation to track Rojin's trail. Over 100 personnel, including helicopters, coast guard units, police boats, AFAD, and volunteer search and rescue teams, are involved in the search efforts. A special team is conducting search and rescue operations both in Lake Van and along the campus shoreline. In the efforts, which also utilize mounted police units and specialized search and rescue dogs, authorities are searching for any trace of Rojin.
