North Korean leader Kim Jong-un inspects test launches of new cruise missiles
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un observed the test launches of a cruise missile named "Pulhwasal-3-31," which is designed to be launched from submarines.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) stated that a new missile test was conducted under the leadership of North Korean leader Kim.
It was noted that Kim, accompanied by senior North Korean officials, guided the test launch of the newly developed submarine-launched cruise missile, "Pulhwasal-3-31."
It was emphasized that the test launch did not affect the security of any neighboring country and was unrelated to the regional situation.
The Rodong Sinmun, the national newspaper close to the ruling Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), published photographs showing the moment two separate missiles were fired.
The photos indicated that the missiles, which emerged from the water, were the same "Pulhwasal-3-31" type missiles that were first launched from North Korea's west coast last week.
