According to NTV, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler is expected to brief council members on the ongoing Pençe series of operations in northern Iraq.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON GAZA
Israel's attacks on Gaza and Turkey's ongoing diplomatic efforts will also be on the agenda at the NSC meeting.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan will provide information on contacts being carried out in international platforms, primarily the United Nations, regarding the cessation of conflicts, the provision of urgent humanitarian aid to the region, and the recognition of the Palestinian state.
Work on updating the National Security Policy document, also known as the "Red Book," will also be reviewed at the NSC.
