Number of detainees in Gülistan Doku investigation rises to 30
One more of the 7 suspects detained in the fifth wave of operations has been arrested; the proceedings for 6 individuals continue at the Erzurum Courthouse.
A new arrest warrant has been issued in the fifth wave of operations conducted as part of the Gülistan Doku investigation. One of the 7 suspects taken into custody was arrested by the court to which they were referred.
With this latest decision, the number of detainees in the investigation has risen to 30. It was reported that the proceedings for the other 6 suspects referred to the courthouse under the same file are continuing at the Erzurum Courthouse.
In the investigation carried out under the coordination of police and gendarmerie teams in line with the instructions of the Erzurum and Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, 10 suspects were detained the day before yesterday.
Three of the suspects were brought to the Erzurum Courthouse yesterday; diver Gürkan Gürdal was arrested by the on-duty criminal judgeship of peace to which he was referred with a request for arrest. The other 2 individuals were released under judicial control conditions.
