Number of summaries of proceedings against Özel reaches 61 with new immunity motions: Submitted to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

Immunity motions for 9 members of parliament, including 3 files belonging to Özgür Özel, have been submitted to the Speaker of the TBMM.

Thus, with the addition of 3 new files to the 58 previously prepared summaries of proceedings against Özel, the total number of summaries has risen to 61.

The summaries of proceedings prepared by the Presidency, which propose the lifting of legislative immunity for 9 members of parliament, have reached the Speaker of the TBMM.

The summaries submitted to the Speaker's Office have been referred to the Joint Commission, which consists of members of the Constitutional and Justice Commissions.

Among the summaries are three separate files prepared against CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT WHOSE IMMUNITY IS REQUESTED TO BE LIFTED

According to the summaries submitted to the TBMM, the members of parliament whose legislative immunity is requested to be lifted are as follows:

* CHP İstanbul Deputy Oğuz Kaan Salıcı

* CHP Ordu Deputy Mustafa Adıgüzel

* CHP İzmir Deputy Murat Bakan
