Nurullah Efe Ankut detained in the morning: 'If Tayyip throws us into his dungeon...'
Nurullah Efe Ankut, Chairman of the People's Liberation Party (HKP), was detained at his home by police teams in the early hours. The reason for Ankut's detention has not yet been announced.
People's Liberation Party leader Nurullah Efe Ankut was detained this morning after police teams arrived at his home. According to information published on the party's official social media account, Ankut was taken by police to the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse.
In a video recorded before the detention process, Nurullah Efe Ankut spoke as follows:
"If Tayyip throws us into his dungeon, we will continue to put him on trial there. He should not think he will escape from us!"
No official statement has been made regarding the reason for the detention.
Upon the instructions of the Tayyip-clan, we have been detained once again and taken to the Istanbul Anatolian Courthouse. We are there now.
