Object thrown at Murat Boz's face
While performing on stage in Diyarbakır, singer Murat Boz had an object thrown at his face. In a statement on his social media account, Boz said, "It was an individual action; I wish it hadn't happened, but attributing this to the entire people of Diyarbakır would upset me greatly and would be unfair."
Singer Murat Boz, who took the stage in Diyarbakır the previous evening as part of the Culture Road Festival organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, had a lighter thrown at his face while he was singing.
Unable to hide his surprise after the attack, Murat Boz walked for a while and then continued his concert from where he left off.
In a statement on his social media account following the incident, Boz said: "We shared very beautiful moments with the beautiful people of Diyarbakır yesterday. It was an individual action; I wish it hadn't happened, but attributing this to the entire people of Diyarbakır would upset me greatly and would be unfair. I was hosted very well from beginning to end. We sang our songs in unison. It was very precious to me. Thank you once again, Diyarbakır. I'm glad you exist. By the way, I am perfectly fine, there is no problem at all," he stated.
