Occupancy rates of Istanbul's dams are falling!
Despite the heavy rainfall in Istanbul in recent days, the water levels in the dams continue to decline.
According to data from the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ), the average occupancy rate of dams in the megacity was 35.18 on October 13, while according to today's data, it has become 34.99 percent.
The highest water amount in the dams was in the Elmalı Dam with 56.04 percent, while the lowest water amount was in the Kazandere Dam with 3.2 percent.
According to İSKİ data, as of October 7, the dam occupancy rates in Istanbul are as follows:
• Alibey Dam 7.04 percent
• Büyükçekmece Dam 37.84 percent
• Darlık Dam 39.26 percent
• Elmalı Dam 56.04 percent
• Istrancalar Dam 23.48 percent
• Kazandere Dam 3.2 percent
• Pabuçdere Dam 14.62 percent
• Sazlıdere Dam 46.69 percent
• Terkos Dam 50.25 percent
• Ömerli Dam 27.21 percent
