Official advertisement price tariff determined

The Presidential Decree regarding the official advertisement price tariff has been published in the Official Gazette.

According to the decree, the publication fee for official advertisements in newspapers will be calculated based on the column-centimeter unit, obtained by measuring one centimeter along the column height that forms the basis of the newspapers' page layout.

The publication fee for official advertisements on internet news sites will be calculated based on a 1-box area, which is 3.4 centimeters wide and 1 centimeter high.

The "Arial" font will be used for the typesetting of advertisement texts. The font size for the advertisement texts to be published will be 10 points, there will be at least 12 lines of text in a 5-centimeter section, the single column and one box width will be 3.4 centimeters, and the advertisement headings will be 16 points. There must be 3 millimeters between the advertisement heading and the advertisement text, the advertisement frame thickness must be 0.5 millimeters, the spacing between the advertisement text and the frame must be 3 millimeters, and there must be one space character between words.

PUBLICATION FEE

The publication fee for one centimeter of official advertisements in a single column and in one box will be 140 liras for newspapers with an average daily actual circulation of under 50 thousand and for internet news sites in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th categories according to the Regulation on Official Advertisements and Announcements, and 170 liras for newspapers with an average daily actual circulation of over 50 thousand and for internet news sites in the general category of the same regulation.

VAT will not be included in the fees specified in the tariff, which will enter into force on January 1, 2024.

On the other hand, the Presidential Decree No. 6805 dated February 15, 2023, has been repealed.
