Official Gazette published: Assets of 11 individuals frozen over terror financing
A decision to freeze the assets of 11 individuals on the grounds of their alleged affiliation with and financing of terrorist organizations has been published in the Official Gazette.
The Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance's decision to freeze assets has been published in the Official Gazette with the signatures of Mehmet Şimşek and Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya.
ASSETS FROZEN
The implementation stated, "In accordance with the third paragraph of Article 7 of the Law No. 6415 on the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism, it has been decided to freeze the assets located in Turkey of the persons named in the attached lists, based on the existence of reasonable grounds that they have committed acts falling within the scope of Articles 3 and 4 of the same Law."
The decision noted that the assets of 11 individuals were frozen on allegations of "terror financing." The list includes individuals affiliated with the PKK/KCK, ISIS, DHKP/C, and the TKP/ML Konferans terrorist organizations.
