Ogün Samast leaves Trabzon Courthouse
Ogün Samast, the triggerman in the murder of Agos Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Hrant Dink, arrived at the Trabzon Courthouse today to attend a hearing in Istanbul via the SEGBİS system. He is being tried on charges of 'committing a crime on behalf of the FETÖ armed terrorist organization without being a member,' facing a potential prison sentence of 5 to 10 years. Samast left the courthouse after about 2 hours, getting into a car that was waiting for him.
Ogün Samast, who murdered Agos Newspaper Editor-in-Chief and BirGün columnist Hrant Dink, arrived at the Trabzon Courthouse today to attend a hearing in Istanbul via the SEGBİS system in a case where he is being tried without arrest and faces up to 10 years in prison.
Ogün Samast, who attended the first hearing on December 6, 2023, from the Akçaabat Courthouse to connect to the hearing at the Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court via the Audio and Video Information System (SEGBİS), will attend the hearing today for the second time from the Trabzon Courthouse.
It was observed that Samast, who will participate in the Istanbul hearing via SEGBİS from the Trabzon 2nd High Criminal Court, arrived at the courthouse alone.
Samast left the courthouse after staying for about 2 hours, boarding a car that was waiting for him.
